Lynne is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with 20 years NHS experience, including being the Clinical Lead for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Lancashire and lead Consultant Psychologist for adolescent inpatient services. Lynne left the NHS to take up the post of Clinical Director for schools based charity Place2Be – part of the Heads Together campaign led by the young Royals – and is currently the Chief Clinical Officer at www.koothplc.com – the Uk`s leading digital mental health service for children commissioned by the NHS since 2001. Passionate about driving best practice at a national level Lynne was extremely privileged to be invited to No 10 Downing Street in early 2020 to contribute to a round table discussion about children`s mental heath. Whilst published in the academic arena, she is very excited to be writing for children, inspired by a strong desire to instil key messages from an early age to help keep young people emotionally well and happy.
